TellYouGov Monthly Prize Draw Rules

These official rules apply to the monthly prize draw conducted by YouGov plc. By entering the prize draw, you agree to be bound by these rules.

Eligibility

The prize draw is only open to registered TellYouGov members.

The prize draw is not open to employees of YouGov plc, its subsidiaries, affiliates and suppliers or those living with them or members of their immediate family.

Promotion Period

Within each month, entries will be accepted for the prize draw from 00.01 on the 1st of the month until midnight on the last day of the month.

YouGov reserves the right to extend the entry period.

How to Enter

By submitting a tyg that is recorded on the site.

Limitation of Entries

Each post by one person will be counted as one entry into the draw

Prize

Each month, a prize of £50, will be awarded to one winner which will be paid by cheque

YouGov plc reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

A winner will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries.

Notification

Winners will be notified by email, post, or telephone within 14 days of the date of the draw. The winner may be required to provide YouGov plc with proof that the winner is the authorised account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. The winners will have 28 days from notification to accept the prize by sending an email to tygsupport@yougov.com. Details of prize winners are available by writing to YouGov plc, 50 Featherstone Street, London, EC1Y 8RT enclosing a stamped, self-addressed business size envelope.

The winner must reply to the notification within 28 days of the date that the email was sent in order to claim the prize. If after one month no email is received claiming a prize, the winner will not be eligible for that prize. I f a prize is left unclaimed after one month, a new prize draw winner will be selected. Again this prize draw winner must reply to the notification within 28 days of notification to claim the prize. This process continues until the prize has been claimed.

Liability

YouGov is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, mis-delivered, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries, messages or post; unavailable network connections; failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission; on line failures; hardware software or other technical malfunctions or disturbances; or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the prize draw in any manner including without limitation, receipt of entries, entrance ability to participate in the prize draw winner notification, or winner response to notification. YouGov plc is also not responsible for any damage to entrant’s computer occasioned by participation in the prize draw or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the prize draws.

Jurisdiction

These rules shall be governed by English law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
